The iPIX Plug-in and Viewer work on Windows 95/98/2000, Windows NT 3.5.1 and later based PCs, and on Macintosh iMac and PowerPC-based computers.
The iPIX Plug-in supports Netscape Navigator 3.x and higher, Netscape Communicator 4.x and higher, and Internet Explorer 3.x and higher. The Plug-in will also work with Opera and AOL on a Windows-based PC. If you use a browser prior to version 3.x, you will need to upgrade your browser to view iPIX images in Web pages.*
iPIX Viewers
If you are using an older operating system, iPIX images can be viewed using the iPIX Viewer. The iPIX Viewer lets you open iPIX images directly from files on your hard drive, without using an Internet browser. Internet Pictures does not support using the iPIX Viewer to view iPIX images from the Web. The iPIX Viewer will also work with any version of Windows and the Macintosh OS.
