Please ask the front desk about our selection of electrical adapters for European devices that can be loaned for the duration of your stay. We also have cell phone chargers available for most major brand.

Please contact the Inn’s front desk for 24-hour emergency assistance. Please refer to the “Safety and Security” section of this directory for further assistance.

Housekeeping will service your room daily. Additionally, our front desk team is able to provide items you may have forgotten, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, razor blades, and shaving cream.

An ice machine is available on the second floor.

Our front desk team is happy to provide information on local transportation services. Also available are printed commuter rail, subway schedules and maps. For taxi services, please allow at least 30 minutes for a scheduled pick-up. Ride Share is also available through Uber/Lyft.

Parking is available in the lot outside of the inn; additional parking is available in the lot at the entrance of the property.

We have a guest computer with printing available in the main lobby of the Inn for your convenience. The front desk is able to assist with your copy/fax services. Copying services such as three hole punch and stapling are also available. Some services may be at a fee; see front desk for additional information.

Luggage storage is available in the lobby area. Please see the front desk for further assistance.

Your phone is equipped with a voice mail system. The message light will be lit when you have messages. To check your messages, touch voicemail messages and follow the prompts.

For the safety of our guests’ belongings, we have safe deposit boxes in must of our rooms. The hotel cannot be responsible for items not secured in a safe deposit box.

A clock radio is located on the dresser in your room. Wake-up calls can also be set from your room phone.

Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. You may check out at the front desk or leave your keys in the express check-out box located there.

Make your way to Henry’s Place, our café and bar just a 2-minute walk from the inn, where you’ll find comfort food, handcrafted cocktails, and great coffee and espresso.

Policies & Procedures

Your safety and the security of your personal property are of the utmost concern to us. We urge you to take advantage of the following suggestions.

When you check in:

  • Find the fire exits in your corridor. Make sure they are not locked or blocked. Count the doorways and examine other features between your room and the exit so that you can find your way out in an emergency.
  • Learn the layout of your room and know how to unlock your door in the dark.
  • Put your room key close to where you sleep so you can find it easily. You will need the key to get back into your room if smoke or fire blocks your exit.

When the room door is not hot or there is no smoke in the hall:

  • Check if the hall is clear of smoke. If it is clear, it is probably safe to leave your room. Collect your key, close the door securely behind you and walk to the exit.
  • Walk down to the ground level holding onto the handrail to protect yourself from being knocked down by someone in a panic. If you encounter smoke or fire on a lower level, turn around and walk up to cleaner air, go to the roof if it is accessible or use another exit.

When the room door is hot or there is smoke in the hall:

  • Do not panic. You can stay in your room and still survive a fire.
  • Fill the tub with water for wetting towel and sheets. The tub water might also be needed for cooling down the walls. An ice bucket or wastebasket can be used for bailing water.
  • Seal the door from smoke with wet paper towels, cloth towels, tissues, and sheets. Cover or block vents, too.
  • In spite of your efforts, if smoke still enters your room, make a tent over your head with a blanket or sheet at a slightly opened window and breathe air that is free of smoke. If smoke can enter your room from outside the window, do not break or open it. Once you break the window you will not be able to close it.

When a fire starts in your room:

  • Evacuate your room immediately. Collect your key and close the door securely behind you.
  • Sound the sire alarm nearest to your room door and notify your neighbors as you leave.
  • Walk to safety via the fire exit.

Please note the conference center facility is non-smoking. The conference center reserves the right to charge violators a non-refundable fine of $150 for each occurrence.

Tampering with any smoke detectors in our guest rooms or at any location throughout the facility is prohibited by the Law of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

“TITLE XX. PUBLIC SAFETY AND GOOD ORDER, CHAPTER 148: SECTION 27a. VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE PUNISHED BY IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN ONE YEAR OR BY A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS, OR BOTH”.
